    Well im using mine now to overclock a pentium D and its great. I dont know what I was worrying about

    Yup, also have the Type-R, rock solid, running my overclocked Opteron, and my 7800GT.

    Its a brilliant PSU, I wouldnt want anything else.

    I've been running mine for over a year now and it's absoultely silent.

    Looks great, the modular system is a huge help in keeping things tidy and it's solid as anything, I really can't fault it.

    yep mine was too noisy, i use my pc for recording audio and it was just far too noisy for me.

    Despite having two fans, this is one quiet PSU. Only been running for a couple of weeks on a limited basis because of problems with new parts supplied at same time (now RMA'd).

    Highly recommended.

    I find my one to be too noisey to im gutted my Akasa paxpower was much quieter but it went into a relatives pc yesterday

    I have the 480w version and I thought it was silent until I got the x1900. It doesn't struggle with it but simply gets quite hot so the fan ramps up above my radiator fans which is a bit irritating. Think its time for a new psu...
