    Logitech diNovo Keyboard/Mouse issues

    Hi,

I've recently installed a Logitech diNovo bluetooth desktop and have had nothing but issues. It all works fine before I install the drivers however once the setpoint software is installed the mouse seems to lag and movement is jurkey and sometime it just doesn't move at all.

Has anyone else experianced this kind of issue?

    Kind Regards,

    James

Not personally, best thing i can suggest if no one can offer any help, ring logitech directly, ive dealt with them a few times job wise and they are pretty helpful

If they confirm a fault, they will give a ref number which inturn you give to your supplier to arrange a return

Are you using the correct version of Setpoint? For my Media Desktop 2.0 Setpoint 2.22 is the best version - later revisions (such as 2.60) give me issues - nothing like what you're getting, but issues non-the-less.

I've had a DiNovo for a year now and the only time the mouse gets a bit jerky / stops responding for 10 seconds is when my pc has been on all day, if i restart the problem goes away for another 10 hours or so. You leaving your pc on all day and then this is happening or is it just all the time?

Bluetooth sucks for keyboards and mice - i got one for a customer and it sucked (authough the actual hardware was lovely)

I've had numerous wireless mice over the years and I'd have to say that this is up there with the best that I've tried. No lag at all save for if my PC has been on all day as I said earlier

I had this set for a couple of years now - whenever I install the BT stack and the setpoint software I have issues such as having to resync the mouse and keyboard all the time etc. So I gave up and just used it without installing any of the drivers and it seems to work with no issues. I don't get any of the fancy configurations though but I can live without them. The back and forward buttons seems to work in Firefox fine, the volume contorl on the keyboard usually works fine until some Windows update blitzes it. Unless you really need to the BT functionality, you can use it without any of the fancy software.
