Temp monitor and fan controller for drive bay

I think I'm being a little too demanding...

I would like to add a temperature monitor and fan controller for a 5.25 bay to my system.

However, I have one particular requirement, there is no startup beep from the panel. (I use the machine to record DVB during the night - hence I want to keep it quiet)

I've tried one of the Silverstone panels and the ICute Iguard but they both have loud beeps at startup. I know I could break off the beeper but it's not something I want to do.

Unfortunately, these startup beeps are not usually documented features so it's difficult to find one which doesn't do it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

the beeper only works if the hole can let the noise out, how about putting a small piece of tape over the hole in the beeper, so its muffled?

I don't think my Enermax Ulitmate beeps when it boots.... it also seems to tick all your boxes, it works great!

i was looking for fan controllers to, the one buff has mantioned is good, would always rather go for the manual fan control than the digital.
