    Smile New rig

    Just finished my new rig a few days ago. first time new build and quite pleased with result.
    Abit NF7
    Athlon 2500xp 210fsb (locked cant change multi) 1.725v
    Crucial pc3200 cl3 1 gig 7-3-3-2.5
    Hercules 9700pro 365/338
    Coolermaster case
    Zalman 7000 cpu fan

    temp system 23 cpu 41/46

    3dMark 2001SE 17237

    3d mark 2003 5513

    think i'll leave it at this. very stable runs prime 95 no probs.
    got all the info i needed of this site, very helpful.

    That is a very nice set up you have there. Congratulations.
    1) Shame the Barton is locked
    2) Are you going to OC it?
    3) Is it a NF7 or a NF7-S?

    Think that system should keep you going for quite some time

    If it has a 210mhz FSB then he is overclocking it to 2.31Ghz

    unfortunatley i ordered a NF7 and not a NF7-S. Never mind though it's better than my old one.

    Silly me, didnt notice the 210fsb lol.

    Shame about the NF7, you only really miss out on the Sound Storm, and SATA. I believe the NF7 has dual channel too (same as the NF7-S.

    Just out of interest how much cheaper was the NF7, than the NF7-S?
