SS56G V2 problem

Hi, i have an FX5500 in my AGP slot, and a newly acquired X-Fi fatal1ty in my PCI slot. My problem is that some of the fatal1ty's capacitors are touching the gfx card, and the black x-fi box is also touching (although made from plastic) is this a potential problem, or are the caps well protected from shorting etc? It slightly worried me when i put it in and found that it impedes quite a lot with the gfx card.

Also perhaps slightly OT, has anyone modded the shuttle to take two 5.25" drives, as the fatal1ty has a breakout panel that i would like to use, and i only have one HD and no floppy.
