PAH I laugh in your face at your feeble attempts at overclocking

Sorry dude couldn't resist. Very nice going on that overclock but keep it going until it crashes/BSOD's on you. Just make sure that you have your AGI/PCI bus locked at 33 or 66mhz cause that will be the main one to be hurt during overclocking.

Agreed with what some are saying in that PC2700 can sometime hit 200FSB. Get there and you've reached the magic number

Your overclocking will just depend on the components. Nobody could have guessed that the equipment that I purhcased (2500+ Barton, 512mb PC3200 TwinMOS, DFI LanParty NFII Ultra) could hit speeds of 240FSB and be 99% stable running a multiplier of x11.5. Twas very nice seeing it post and run at 2.7ghz on air cooling running just 1.8v!

Am running more sensible speeds at the moment of 210FSB with a multiplier of 11 gives me a nice 2.31ghz of power which is more than sufficent. But if I want to show off I just up it to 2.7ghz and bask in all its glory.

I was getting BSODs earlier when playing with different combinations, etc.

My benchmarks shown above still beat all the equivalent processors / memory and match up to things like 3000+s I'm pretty chuffed tbh. More playing about will commence over the weekend.

I've found that stress-testing with a single program does not guarantee stability. Nor does stress-testing with several programs, one after the other. Memtest86 ran flawlessly for a day, and then Prime95 for several more hours on a system that crashed when running Prime95 whilst copying files. I've settled on using a combination of multiple scripted Pifast runs, together with Prime95, and sometimes while copying a few GB of files to prove stability (Make sure your files are backed up before trying this - a crash while copying corrupted several GB of my files once).
