Shuttle power questions

I currently have an older p4 Shuttle system and am planning on upgrading to a newer system in short time. I have unfortunatly allowed the video card market to pass my by. i am still running an older ATI card.

From what I have read, the new PCI card are power hogs and I am concerned that the 250 watt power supply in the newer machines will be inadequate.

Has anyone had some experience, good or bad, with this? Can the power pack be upgraded? I only say one with a 350 watt power supply, the SN27P2, and AMD system that I have yet to find.

Thanks for and suggestions, thoughts and advise on this.

A: The power supply unit can be counted on to deliver sufficient power without any difficulties. You need only consider whether the video card will fit in the system. Cards with a dual fan system (dual slot cards, or cards with an exceptionally large fan) will unfortunately NOT fit in the system. The only exception are P-series cases (such as the S81P.) Which "older P4 Shuttle" do you have? There is a 300W PSU available as an upgrade for a number of "older" Shuttle XPC Barebones:

I currently have a SB65G2. This system is great and I have never had a problem with it running a P4, 1 gig Ram, and ATI 7500 video card.

I am wanting to get an updated system with either an AMD 64 processsor or the newer Intel processor and take advantage of the newer video cards. I started eying the Shuttle SN27P2 system, but I have not seen them online... yet.
