    Mi best m8 & IT manager offered to swap my XP2700+ (no idea what stepping) for a Barton XP2500:
    AXDA2500DKV4D.....AQXFA0334RMW

    looks like a decent deal to me m8
    the barton is a week 34 which means it isnt locked so with the right mobo and ram it should do 3200xp barton speeds
    id swap if his cpu was in mint condition !!!

    Tis fresh outa the box & going in my Epox 8RGA+ mobo with 2x256 matched corsair PC3700.

    Yeah sweet. As said the XP2500+ though slower at stock should easily beat the XP2700+ as soon as you o/c a little. Do rem that onboard nForce2 gfx suck at 3D gaming and for top perf it's best to run the RAM synced to FSB (esp if you tighten timings). If you do wander around 400FSB you may want to stick a fan on the NB.

    Got full watercooling rig already & Radeon 9800 pro under da hood!
    Got a second hand drinking water chiller to pipe in too.
