    microsoft wireless leather mouse

well our company got a batch in and i was the first to purchase the "bondage" mouse (as we've nick named it in the tech room!) - personally i wanted to wait untill they had one with studs on but i was told it wasn't out untill the 30th of feb

any way on to the review

the mouse it's self - as with all micrsoft mice, has not major buld flaws - the only thing that puzzles me is if this is real leather or just some cheap crap.

the mouse feels lovely to hold (and i haven't got a sweaty palm - the question on most peoples lips). the new 3d wheel is a bit weird to get use to, then is no clicking feel when the wheel moves and is a little stiff to get moving (prob lossen up after a little use). it has the normal left, right, back, forward buttons. but when i click the wheel down instead of getting the page to move up and down with the movement of my mouse it tab's between windows - which anoyed me at first as i was playing battle field when i found this out!

with the mention of battle field most people who harassed me for a feel (even before i could get it out of the box - u know who u are!) kept telling me "oh very nice, shame ur a game player!". i had read microsoft had increased the signal strength between the base unit and mouse, not sure if this is true but it handled fine in BF 1942. sniper mod was just like using my wired explorer mouse but with the feel of leather! when the first wireless MS mouse came out i was also first on the band wagon - so to speak, only to return it the very next day because of a lag between the mouse falling asleep (a function that saves on batt power) and waking back up again. but with this i can't tell.

oh one thing i forgot to mention, when installing this MS recommend installing the drivers first then attaching you mouse (most people would of though XP had drivers - wrongo!)

true it's early days yet but i see a future in this mouse. can't wait for the leather keyboard to come in. hell next they'll be leather cases - oh there's an idea for a kewl case mod!

any questions post below and i'll try my best to answer!

I also found it quite nice, fits your hand well (well mine anyway ), but i dont like the new wheel. Period.

Makes weapon switching in games a nightmare.
