Motherboards with more PCI-E slots?

Has anyone found any motherboard currently on sale or in the pipeline that have at least 2 PCI-E x16 slots plus at least 1 8x slots (or 3-4 x16 slots)?

It seems 8x is forgotten about and boards currently have 1-2 x16 slots and the rest are all x4....I would like to have the possibility of Crossfire cards but with a raid controller currently occupying 1 of the x16 slots and other devices starting to emerge that could contend for these slots, it seems there is a need for more high-speed PCI-E slots.

Supermicro H8DCE? (16+16+4+4) and the 4x are 8x slots with 4x wired

Thought I doubt you'll be willing to go Dual Opteron given the price and the need of ECC+REG ram.

they have x4 to x1 adapters, if they made an x8 to x1 that would be good... it does limit the bandwidth slightly but its still better than pci

I've been having the same problem (somewhat), but I don't see a point in a RAID 5 controller that needs PCIe x8 bandwidth on a gaming machine considering the performance overhead involved with RAID 5, so the second PCIe x16 slot suits me ok, there's a few hardware raid controllers that use PCIe x4 (which is much more common on standard boards) that would happily take a stack of disks in RAID0,1,0+1 arrays.

Thanks for the input, I guess it just time to play the waiting game

The reason I use an 8x RAID controller is that it was the only one available at the time and after using it, its so fast I would hate to change it . My system is used for many different things, the RAID is there as I love the resilience as hard drives do die and theres no downtime when that happens
