    Pc Memory Upgrade

I dont know if many of you here have shoped with this store but I thought I had to post this thread to highlight there outstanding customer service.

I purchased 2GB Mushkin PC3500 L2 ram from there store, the next day I noticed that I hadnt had a dispatch email so I emailed them (at 7pm) and got a reply 30 mins later to say that unfortunatly there was a stock error blah and that they wouldnt get any for a few more days, The next day I got another email to say that they had contacted Mushkin and that they had aranged for mushkin to Fedex the ram direct to me, fantastic I thought

So I keep my eye on the tracking page to see where my ram is, once it gets to customs it stops, so I give them a ring and apparenty theres tax of £72 to be payed on the shipment , I contact the store and they say ok pay the tax and they will deduct it from my bill, Sure enough the £72 was deducted from the total I payed for the ram.

The guy I delt with was extrmely helpfull, I cannot recomend these guys enough

That does sound like the most saintly customer service department EVER....

Not that I have ever had much of a problem getting stuff online. I recently got a Heat Sink/Fan from www.overclockers.co.uk - not that they have the best reputation or anything, but y'know was on that site when decided to buy.

I also went for £8.50 next day delievry. Clicked submit. Then thought "£8.50 is nutzzz. Should add something to the order". So I immediately emailed the correct department at overclockers.co.uk saying "Give me another 512 stick of Ram".

When the order was dispatched - like 7 hours later - there was no ram in the order. Got a reply like 2 days later saying. "Sorry. Order already dispatched. But my Fan was already in my pc!".

Not much of a problem you are thinking ? An email is the ONLY way to add items - think it tells u so on the site. In this case I didn't really get burned 'cause the RAM is not really necessary. But what if that email was to CANCEL the Fan ??? I would have been out of pocket because nobody at overclockers.co.uk checks their email.
