    I got an Asrock 939SLI32-eSATA2 awesome motherboard I had a DFI lanparty SLi-D if anything i've found this motherboard to be more stable wtih my opteron 146 @ 3Ghz after the simple volt mod

    The motherboard has to be compatible with the Scythe Ninja. The Asus motherboards don't need the Ninja plate whereas the ASRock does.
    Don't know about the Ninja plate, but ASRock is Asus, and it is silent passively cooled.
