Will they work together, AFAIK they should - but I just noticed the CPU has an FSB speec of 533Mhz, wheras the motherboard states its as 800Mhz...will it matter?

If they wont be compatible, can someone suggest an alternative?

    Cheers,
    David

These will be fine together, the mobo can support up to 800mhz FSB.

Right, bumpage of my own thread here - can someone check this stuff is all compatible:

    PSU 400w FSP Sparke £41.47
    Mobo Gigabyte GA K8N £55.59
    CPU AMD Athlon 64 3500+ S939 £73.43
RAM 2Gb Corsair Extra Value RAM PC3200 £119.85

I'm pretty sure it is, but i want to make absolutley sure!

Edit: and the power supply will be ok to run all that along with a 300Gb HD, one DVD-RW drive and a 6800XT right?

Yes, that's all compatable, and yes, 400W would power that no problem.
