    2.1 digital speakers

Anyone recommend some 2.1 speakers with spdif input? I've got some cambridge soundworks 2.1 digitals at the moment, but the other day they started poping and cracking, now the right speaker is really quiet and there is huge amount of distortion

I have been looking at the Logitech Z 2300's but i don't think thjey have a digital input.

I'm not willing to spend more than 100, but would prefer something cheaper

edit, it appears that its not my speakers - if i plug in a minidisc player, they work fine. When i discovered this, i switched the soundcard (one of the original audigys) to analog and the same problem is being exhibited - must be a sound card problem (the sound is balanced in the volume controller, so that isn't the issue)

    Anyone have any suggestions?
