Going for the 6600 myself but think the 6400 will probably be a tad more common

6400 is what I'm going to be going for but to be fair I'm not after a huge performance leap. I just need a low powered dual core chip for a new media server.

6400 and 6600 are the best deals till now. If you get the gigabyte ds3 or ds4 you can achieve up to 4000 with 6400, as for 6600 just if you go with Intel SLI for being not a good overcloker motherboard. It looks very impress

e6600, will easily be the most popular in the enthusiast sector because of the 4mb cache, not that it will make that much of a difference tbh, alot of pc enthusiast will know about the conroes overclocking potential so will most likely take full advantage of that.
