    Help with a problem.

My PC recently went u/s. But its a problem Ive not seen before. Basically, it boots up, posts ect but when it comes to starting windows right after the post it crashes out and hangs before the windows logo itself is even didplayed properly, ie its barely visible. Ive tried safemode with the same results. Now I think my cpu or ram could be toast as Ive been having a few BSOD's but I just put that down to this heat and backed off the overclock to stock, but I still got them and then right before it refused to start up it would hang every couple of mins and then fucnction properly for a few more mins. I dont think its a windows instalation myself as I havent done anything to it for a while. Im starting to think it might be the hdd, but I dont think so. Specs can be found to the left.
Please post your sugestions and help me sort it out. Thanks in advance.

    CoolerMaster ftw!!!

When the system has booted and the windows logo is just visible have you left it to continue to boot which for some reason can take a while as I have the same problem when I boot of my second drive from the bios boot menu but I just leave it and it does boot up after a time but if I boot from my main drive then there is no problem.

Had a similar problem - had my resolution set too high for my monitor, so as soon as it tried to change to that res - ie after post etc., the display went wierd and generally crashed............maybe?
