Watercooling

Hey Guys,

I have just built a top gaming rig bu have found that the noise is really doing my head in. I've got an FX-60 CPU and 1GB 7950 GX2 graphics card.

My last rig used the Zaman tower watercooling kit but the size of the unit became an issues.

So now I'm looking for a watercooling solution that is very quiet and can be housed inside the case.

What do you think?

Your case would help. Just don't expect to be able to water cool that 7850.

Aquacomputer do a block for the 7950, but its about £100, due any time now.

gfx blocks do seem expensive, atleast thats two gfx cards its cooling though.

While we're talking about waterblocks for GPUs, I've a 6600GT (AGP) which is problematic for aftermarket cooling. I've seen the swiftech 50 (and I presume 60) block will fit, anyone know of any other options?

Already got the Zalman sinks, so just need to replace the VF700-AlCu at some point. I might have to be naughty when I get paid.

Well, my system has been running under watercooling for the first time today, processor is 1-3C under the mobo temp when loaded

All I hear is the PSU fan and a cool, gentle breeze from the radiator on top of the case. I'm pleased to have done this without breaking anything. Yet.
