Yup, it can
Run some software like memtest (www.memtest86.com) or Prime and see if your system is stable.
Or you could reset back to defaults and retry to extract them, which would answer your question
Overclocking wouldn't necessarily cause them though, a transposed bit over the internet would also cause the same issue.
I'd say overclocking is most likely to cause CRC errors if you are encoding the ISO, not extracting.
I'd say the place you downloaded the ISO from is faulty.

True, but he said can it cause them, which it easily can (its happened with me before)
If you find out its not due to overclocking, and the rar's are bad due to transmission like TiG said, your pretty lucky in the regard that winrar has excellent file recovery, so all might not be lost.
If that doesn't work though, you'll have to re-download them.
If its off P2P - one without hashing or error checking - id agree with TiG that thats the more likely cause. Long live BitTorrent
