are the 5 HDD's in Pic 2 all running off the same rail of the hiper?
The Hiper got 4x Modular 12V cables. I need one going to the 5.25 Bays, one going to the front panel of the Eclipse-62 (I mounted an eSATA bracket there), one going to the HDDs and one going to the board's Aux 12V. (After I take the picture I realize I 4got to plug that in :( Glad an extra splitter went into the Aux molex nicely without changing the layout)Quote:

That uses 3 more cables, plus the one u already have:)
lots of obvious improvements really.. I have an Akasa Eclipse as well, and there is just a tad bit enough spacing to actually flip the drives around.. might be a tight-ish fit for the SATA and power cables (using an akasa amber fan as the intake fan), but if u have those sata and sata power cables that run 90 degrees its a lot easier.. route them around then it'll look alot cleaner..
There should be 3 cable holes on the mobo tray.. route the cables past there and to the 24 pins.. should be a tight fit, but it should be fine as all your cables a sleeved well. Sata cables (if you ahve those longer ones) should be fine routing through them cable holes. If you have a spare low profile fan, you can blue-tack a fan on one of the cable holes.. I find that drops my load temps by about 4-5C on hot days like these.
Akasa amber fan cables should be able to tuck right between the IO slots and the other side of the fan, just unscrew.. swing it 180 degrees.. screw it back and tuck..
You should also be able to line the sata cables in one thick book like bunch and tie them up with zippy ties. makes it easier to route thru the mobo and under it..
For the rest of the cables, the akasa have plenty of space between the drive bays and the mobo tray side.. so hiding them there shouldnt be a problem, some tape and blue-tack should do the trick.
I'll post some photos of mine once I get my 4600+ in tomorrow and let you have an idea of wat I mean..
