PCMCIA firewire card?

I've seen a couple of no-brand PCMCIA firewire cards on dabs.com for about £12ish+vat, but I don't know if they're any good. Can anyone give any personal recommendations, or know of any reviews of good PCMCIA firewire cards?

i have a no name card i now use at work. seems to work fine, althought i've not stressed it by doing a DV capture to a FireWire disk or anything like that

Funnily enough, i've just had a nosey at the scan site and they've got one for about £8ish. I shall probably advise my friend to try one of those.
