    Missing HD

Reinstalled my friends machine with windows 2k with sp4 all the updates blahdy blah...
She has an 80 gig sata - A 40 gig and a 120 gig on the IDE0 and a dvd drive on IDE1

All the drives show up correctly in the bios and on the boot up screen.

When in windows the 120 gig drive dosnt show up in my computer, it is in Computer Managment/Disk Managment but I can import Foreign disk or anything.

Have tried unplugging all drives bar the C and the 120 gig, checkjed the ide cable is in right etc etc .. It just dont wanna show.

I even used GetDataBack program and it sees all the data and has shown it all to me in folder view incase I want to get the data off it but it dosnt restore the drive just lets me rip the data off.

    Any ideas?
    Cheers for any input.

Probably a silly question, but have you assigned a drive letter to the drive in Disk Management?
