should be silent! especialy with that hdd i got on a couple of days ago and its silent!! choose ur case fans carefuly and get a fan controller. they make all the difference.

Do you think the system would be a capable gaming machine? Running on the native resolution of the tft?

Because thinking of either Conroe or a price dropped AM2 X2

personaly i would go Athlon. got nothing against intel i just prfer them. they get much better rating for gaming, tht rig would be very capable for gaming i just think you would get alot more out of and a better prcie if u went down the athlon route.

Yeah that rig will be siilent and very capable of gaming. as for athlon vs conroe, conroe is newer and offers the upgrade path, but a 939 will work out a bit cheaper. Personally I'd go for the conroe and upgrade further down the line.

my 3500 in my shuttle sn25p you cant harly hear it, :)
