    X1800XT and what cooler.

Im looking for a new cooler for my X1800XT. Just wondering is there much difference between the Zalman VF900 and the VF700, apart from the price.

VF900 is much more effective on the X1800/X1900 series than the VF700..

VF700 wouldnt produce any better results than the stock cooler at high speeds, but it does keep operations alot quieter..

but all in all, VF900 should be the one to go for..
    Me want Ultrabook

I went for the 900 on a 1800xt and have been really pleased with it, when running on normal speeds you don't relly hear it - just a low 'sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss' noise NOTHING like the reference hair dryer. Even on full pelt I'd be suprised if you really notice it.

the most powerful are the thermalright v1 and sytrin kuformula vf1(plus)

if youre not OCing the zalman is probably the nicest to have for looks and noise
