do you really need a 750w psu? i thought the gx2s were quite good with power consumption as are the conroes.
Well next gen GPU's are supposed to be mega power hungry. No harm in getting a beast now.Originally Posted by chazt
Awesome spec.
Completely agree, I bought my PSU with the idea of future proofing. I can run soo much with 620W and 750W takes this even further, don't forget aswell when you have Quad SLI the cards are drawing nearly 400-500W just on there own (or roundabouts that figure). I wouldn't get anything like quad-sli or crossfire but I will definitely consider SLI or Crossfire in future.Originally Posted by Smokey21

nice spec mate, ordered the ds3 today to replace the dead p5w, and a stick of cheapo ram just in case it wont boot with the ocz stuff
changed 500watt psu and 7900gt to 7950gx2 (or whatever the hell it is) and the 750watt psu from scan bundle, changed Asus ASB-P5B to the gigabyte . Total extra cost, a little over £20 .
