Anyone recommend me a good soundcard for recording? At a decent price?
I know nothing about them, but the one I use at the moment I keep getting Clicks and pops on the line, so I want a new one. Preferably one made for recording!
Cheers,
Rich

What type do you currently have and how are you doing the recording and whats the source?
I run my behringer B1 through my yamaha mixer through the output channel (those little jack lead things red and white) into the front of my sound card. I'm thinking it's not the best.
which yamaha mixer do you have and upto how many channels would you be recording simultaneously?
best bang for buck in my opinion is the m-audio audiophile 2496, thats if you just want excellent stereo recording in analog.
that was going to be one of my suggestions, well either that or the EMU 0404, but they wouldnt really suit him if he is running in from a mxer, depending on how many channels it has.
I only record one channel at a time - 2 max if I need ambiant mic'ing too
Another vote for m-audio great cards.
Just bought that audiofile, 59 quid from turnkey - cheers all
