i dont know about the SN45G, but with the usb ones there should be no wireing really, all i had to do was plug in usb cable at my lcd, and in back of pc. i would have used one of the headers but the cable with it had the connectors on and i couldnt be arsed enuf to change them
you might want to look at the matrix orbital ones aswell, i havent used CF ones but the mo have nice software :)
this is one i got http://www.matrixorbital.com/pages/p...1&ProductID=48

it would probably be easy enough just to disconnect the header to usb cable that came with your mobo from the backplate and plug that in 'internal' then plug the usb lcd connector into that.... i would think that should be ok.

Just out of curiosity where did you mount it? looks to big to be mounted in a 3 1/2 bay but i think i would with that. the matrix orbital do they have internal and external usb wire's?

mine wouldnt fit in a 3 1/2 bay, i prefer it in the 5 1/2 though and not many do fit in floppy bays, as 20x2 lcds are a standard size
mine had a usb A to B cable so i have it going thru my case plugging in at the usb ports at back of mobo, the aothers are all in use and these are hard to get to so again, i prefer this way :)
