I've been reading the forums finding out as much as I can about the DS3/4 motherboards and have heard about the potential memory incompatibility. Can someone tell me whether this will affect the G. Skill NR PC2-6400 RAM? The latency is 5-5-5-12 I believe and it says CL5. Will the motherboard try and run this at CL4 latency or will I be alright?
Anybody? I've heard that there is an issue with the RAM, but wondered whether anyone could confirm this.

Well, they claim that the board can support DDR2 800 RAM, but there have been problems with people using that speed when the PC won't boot.
Edit: Here is a link to the RAM support list. I don't see the RAM there, so can someone tell me whether this Corsair XMS2 RAM will work. I don't really understand all the column headers on that table.
Edit2: Also, what would be better, the Corsair RAM above at 800MHz but with 5-5-5-12 timings, or the first RAM in this list, which only runs at 667MHz, but has 4-4-4-12 timings? Both are on the compatible list (I checked this time) and both from reputable manufacturers.

I mean what do they say about that specific ram? If they say it works fine, and it turns out that it doesn't, then you've got a clear case for RMA.
contact g.skill on xtreme, i think the blokes name is g.skilltechnician, ive seen him offering to swap any non compatible sticks, for different models...might be an american thing, i dunno.
