Upgrading computer wat u think

I am upgrading my computer from a 256 mb ram, integrated graphics and 250 watt power supply to
768 MB ram 512 mb ram
256MB sapphire radeon X1300 58.64 pounds
430 watt Tagan 2force 56.39 pounds

I gt a budget of 150 pounds wat u think about wat I picked

or instead of the 430 watt tagan 3force for 56 pounds should I get a jeantech power supply 400 watts for 35 pounds.

Wat do u guys think of the stuff i picked

You might be better off with a nVidia 7300GS instead of the X1300...

How about this

500W Xclio X12S4P2 SLI Goodpower 12cm Fan Dual 12v EPS SATA PCI-E with Anti-Vibration 24x7 Use Ready £34.02

I don't know what sort of memory you're buying, (be careful and make sure you get the right one!)

512Mb PC2700 (PC333) DDR Memory (Major) Retail £26.19

and with a £90 budget left for graphics card, assuming you're looking for agp, try getting something like a 6800gt off ebay

well if you have to get one or the other, the tagan is a reputable brand and well worth the money but i'm sure the jeantech will be adequate for your needs

I think the fan is really on the bottom. In any case, their will be enough gaps to allow airflow of a sort.

nooooooOOOOOOOOooooo....

it goes the other way up in a case.. its just so you can see what the fan looks like in the pic.

saying that you COULD put it the other way, what with the psu being rectangular and all it should go in either way. one is obviously wrong but nevermind

lol As the other guys said, the PSU is mounted to draw air from the inside of the case and expel it externally. Sometimes that is done passively only with the work of the single fan, and the heat is left to be pushed out by pressure of more and more air coming in.
