    Digital Camera Advice

I'm after a basic camera for photos (believe it or not).

Only going to be used to take pictures of items for sale (ebay etc.). I've been offered the following

    Canon PowerShot A300 - £30 but negotiable - http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/a300.html

Canon PowerShot S20 - £30 but needs new battery

    Fuji A303 - £25 - http://www.livingroom.org.au/photolo...303_review.php. This offer is from Swafe.

Which one should I go for? I don't have any skills by the way and am almost a noob with cameras.

    Thank you in advance.

A300 has a very good ~5cm macro mode so would be good for ebay - however it has no optical zoom so you might prefer the A303 (as a more well balanced, rounded camera). I don't know how good the A303 macro mode is which could be important especially if you're taking close up photos of objects. For ebay photos it shouldn't matter too much as you can always crop the images down if you need to as the maximum size you tend to need for ebay is around 800x600.
