    Question 320 Gb Western Digital WD3200SD Caviar RE IS THIS RAID ONLY?

    i have a 3200JD but they only have this "RE" one can i use this on is own or is it raid only?

    It'll be fine - they tag the RAID on the description as it's a heavy duty drive designed for 24.7 use

    RE drives have TLER enabled

    without that you cant really use drives in proper RAID arrays as they keep coming up as dead drive when theyre not
