    Right then.

So Windows doesn't load up with a graphics card, which I just discovered... however, I did install the Vmware drivers.. and it loaded!

So I connected to it via UltraVNC... now it connected, however, the screen goes all dodgy (see screenshot):

But it does show some things when you go over them (see system tray). So I'm wondering if it's something to do with that UltraVNC hook tray, with its graphics driver... so I will uninstall it now, and install the standard VNC.

    Will keep you updated.

UltraVNC was quite dodgy when I was trying something similar with the servers at work.

    Try TightVNC

OK, installed RealVNC.. same problem really, except it doesn't show anything at all.

If I use Windows' Remote Desktop Connection, that works.. I guess because all the graphics stuff is done on the client side instead.

BUT, it's good enough for me! :-)

If anybody wants me to upload the Vmware drivers then just ask.. (I doubt the people who make Vmware will mind.. they are available to download free and such).

Just incase your wondering why you'd want me to do that... is because it can allow you to boot into Windows without a graphics card!

    Cheers
