    Zalman Fatal1ty FS-C77 Compatible Motherboard

I Know both the Zalman and Fatal1ty website have a compatibility section (shared really) but it doesnt look like its been updated for some time. My question is this; does anyone know if this cooler is compatible (through experiance or know-how) with the ASUS P5N32 SLI SE DELUX? I have been purchasing components for my second (noob) self build between work payments (instead of all together at the end, cos im impatient ) and the fan has arrived along with the case, soundcard, PSU and Core 2 Extreme, and although i knew the CPU cooler would be on the large side, it was quite a suprise to see how big it actually is (in comparison with online illustrations).

it should fit fine as long as you have a metal backplate for it or metal connectors

the compatibility things are weird the connectors should fit all boards

    this is my opinion

although the fatal1ty is not as big as some coolers i had a thermaltake orb which is very similar and that fitted on any board i tried the only concern you might have is how much space it takes in your case

cheerz for your reply. i have fears of buying the motherboard and the heatsinks above (close to the I/O) and to the right being to high and getting in the way of the fan. its my fault in a way, i should have bought the motherbaord first, and then worried about the damn cooler after. However, i am now holding off getting the ASUS motherboard untill the new nVidia 590 Intel edition boards are released....and the lack of new on said boards is very dicouraging
