its a nice board, and nice looking too which is a bit of a bonus. My only question is why do mobo manufacturers insit on putting x1 pcie slots on these boards when near enough nothing useful uses em!!! a decent raid controller needs a x8 slot. Had it had an open ended x4 or a x8 instead I would of chosen it over the ASUS - mostly down to getting annoyed with an ASUS around 15 years ago, then switching to abit since then bar one dfi.

Even 16,8,8,8 is extremly useful (each lane is around 250MB/s), nothing really uses the 16x bandwidth but the fact they are full-length slots means they are much more versatile.
Shame ABit isn't doing anything similar, I love ABit boards but they just haven't released a board with the features I need for a while :(
At completly stock settings with a TT Big Typhoon I was getting around 45ish idle. Didn't get much stress test temps as I had some problems last night (PC World cheap RAM has started to crap out - typically still awaiting my memory to be reprogrammed by OCZ)Quote:

Roll-on that P5W64 board or maybe an RD600 with extra 16x slots :)
