Are they just twice as much as single layer discs yet?
I think i may finally have a use for them, and no, its not for copying dvd movies!

How about a 5 pack of dual-layer Verbatim...for £1.97 :-)

The website said they didn't have any in my local store - but it lied - they had loads!

so you just waltzed in to the store and they had 5pks for £2 right there on the shelf? sounds like a great priceOriginally Posted by Waka
oooo never thought i would see myself shopping in PC world again, but at that price !
Yup - bought 5 packs...25 Verbs D/L for £9.85 :-)
They are 2.4x which doesn't bother me as the 4 and 8x were £30 per pack of 5.

well i'm going to PCWorld tomorrow morning then
That is a good price, but personally I won't touch any +R media due to various compatibility issues. When it comes to dual layer discs the only ones I find to be acceptable are Verbatim DVD-R DL 4x discs, not cheap but much more reliable and compatible than any +R DL discs that i've tried.

well the PC World in Aberdeen didn't have any, not at that price anyway. :\
I'd be using them for data backups, so as long as i can read them in my burner, i'm not bothered how compatable they are
