Little test on the gigabyte DS3 with e6300 at default voltage

    and the cpuz info...

    I don't like adding voltage...

currently this rig can prime stable at 430*7...

Actually I can pass superPI 1m at 450*7... but prime will get some error after 20 mins.

a bit more test at 3Ghz..

    and

finally. can prime for 1 hr

    thanks for reading

    Good stuff!!

How hot is it running and what cooling you got?

These 6300s are turning out to be pretty good clockers!

when overclocked to 3G, the temp is about : 41 c idle, 55 c burning.

I am using a Scythe Mine (this cooler is not for overcooking ... the reason I buy it is because it is almost silent

I can overclock to 3.4 g as well, but it won't pass prime if I dont add some voltage.
    Can you pass prime?

I got mine priming at stock volts too at 3.1ghz. Pretty sure im leaving it at stock V core the extra heat and noise isnt worth the minor overclock improvement. James mate not doubting you (well ok a little ) can you show us a prime shot with stock volts at 3.4Ghz
