hmm interesting
Tried contacting Zboard to see what they think?
Thats a strange one
Strange :\ I take it you're using the same motherboard (and BIOS revision?) that the Pentium D was being used in?
I didn't beleive it at first as I could not come up with any reason as to why......hense I bought a new one.
Nothing else changed in the PC, just the CPU (and a BIOS update now I think of it, nice reminder thanks ;) )....I would switch the other CPU back in but the TT Big Typhoon is damn fiddly to get on/off.
Done a lot of goggle searches and cannot find anyone anywhere running a Zboard with a conroe :(
Have opened a ticked with Ideazon but its been very quiet from them, plus a post on their forums has not found anyone else with a ZBoard + conroe.
Its either the BIOS update or the CPU (or a combination of the 2)....I might try going back to previous BIOS tonight and see what the results are.
are legacy USB devices in the BIOS enabled or disabled?
Keyboard enabled, mouse disabled.
Been like this from day 1 of the build to be able to get into the BIOS.
The other 'oddity' is that uninstalling the zboard drivers has around a 1-in-2 chance of hardlocking windows =/ Yet system is completly stable running everything from Photoshop to my 5 hour raid stints in World of Warcraft....
that is very strange :D
