    Red face Stupid question but...

    ...if I buy an OEM floppy drive with no cable or software, will I be able to install it?

    you will need to buy a cable to connect it to your motherboard but windows comes with generic floppy fisk drivers, hehe

    you don't need a driver. the motherboard takes care of that.
    also, motherboards normally always come with a floppy cable.

    OEM Floppy Drives generally just come in an anti static bag and thats it. You'll usuallly get a cable free with your motherboard - and they don't need drivers (well windows comes with a generic one anyway)
