Question What memory for my new X2 3800+ ?

I have 1GB of DDR2-667 already - is that good enough, or should I install DDR2-800 to take full advantage of this CPU ?
What performance difference would there be ? Can anyone point me to some articles on DDR2 memory performance for AM2 chips ?

    Thanks

That's good enough The memory doesn't really matter on AM2 chips afaik.

edit: oops, I take that back. Seems to scale a little bit - though not enough in real terms IMO to worry about:

I'd spend the money on a matching stick of 667, the performance of 2gig will be better than one gig of faster memory.

    Thanks kalniel.
    chuckskull - my 1GB is infact 2 x 512MB

Hmm, so it does look like it scales quite well actually.....think I might buy some DDR2-800 then....
