system fan speed
been getting to grips with my new build over past few days, can anyone tell me if its possible to alter the system fan speed on a gigabyte 965p s3. it is running at 750rpm but the fan connected is sucking air directly from my overclocked HOT x1900gt so really needs to be working a little harder... any ideas?

put it directly on the power supply and not the motherboard and the job is a good un :) if you really need to have it plugged into the board, then you should be able to change it in the bios easy enough.

Is there a setting in the bios for system fan control (Samrt system fan control)? If so disable this and your system fan should run at normal speed.

I dont have a connection from the power supply nor do I have a power fan on this board, and I cant see any settings on the bios for this only for CPU fan.
BUT
I have found a 3 pin connection on my x1900gt card, it is situated towards the back of it, but its only 3 pins with no plastic guide on it to make sure you get fan in right way. Is this for an extra fan or something else?
