    Yeah i would go for the 2GB to start off with.

    The problem with adding a GB later is that in order for it to also be in dual channel then u will need to add two more 512 sticks - however this means (or did mean) that the ram would run in T2 which is bad.

    However this may have now been fixed im not sure.

    Only 'fixed' in the way all DDR2 is allready 2T, so its pretty irrelevant

    it does take up all the slots, so upgrading to 4gig for vista isnt possible
