Price Check: All sorts of stuff

OK, having managed to find gainful employment I'm finally going to be able to have a decent PC again, which is going to leave the following bits and bobs spare.

So, what do you fine fellows reckon the following items could fetch? Also - I could very easily patch this all up into the pretty decent system it was when I put it together, is that going to add or subtract value from the thing as a whole?

Lian-li PC60 - full aluminium case with removable mobo tray, scratched in more than a few places though, can provide one or two drive bay stealthers (the good ones) and four silent panaflo fans, originally from dorothy.

OCZ 420W Powerstream (might be 460W - can't remember, ticks like buggery though)

    Radeon 9800 Pro

    XP2400 T-bred B with an Aero7+ sitting on top.

Abit NF7-S v1.2 - surround sound outputs don't seem to want to work though

    NEC 3500A DVD-RW

    Lite-on 16x48 DVD-ROM

1Gb of that super cheap Elixir DDR400

    80Gb 7200.7 Seagate disc

    Thanks in advance chaps/chapesses.

Depends if you can find someone who needs it, or more importantly, 2, fighting over it on ebay.

But if it was me, (but bare in mind i don't need or want anything listed) I would not be tempted by anything more than the following prices:

Lian-li PC60 - £30, bit more or less, depending on scratches, you are a bit nadgered here as scan were selling a (better imho) aluminium case for £20 a while back.

OCZ 420W Powerstream - erm, £10-15, maybe - its second hand and i just got a 480w modstream new from ebuyer for £25...

Radeon 9800 Pro - maybe £50, more likely £30-40 though.

XP2400 T-bred B with an Aero7+ sitting on top - maybe £40 again if you're lucky, but less more likely.

Abit NF7-S v1.2 - faulty, and cheap when not faulty!! erm, a fiver?

NEC 3500A DVD-RW - decent enough, but dirt cheap to buy new £15

    Lite-on 16x48 DVD-ROM - see above - £10?

1Gb of that super cheap Elixir DDR400 - £50ish new, but still useful! maybe £40 with a bit of luck?

    80Gb 7200.7 Seagate disc - a 250GB is £50 new - erm, £20? maybe?

Sorry! Your best bet though it to leave it assembled and find a use for it - either as a multimedia server (with a new hd) or flog it as a internet ready computer on ebay - pre assembled, full aluminium so it won't look out of place next to your stereo, exstensive stealthing with bezels etc etc

    I thought 2 x 512mb would be worth more?

The OCZ was on special from ebuyer though and if it's the fan ticking a simple fan swap should sort it?

nope, takes up twice the space, and isn't as future proof ie won't let you add in an extra 1gb module at a later date if you only have 2 slots on your board.

yes the psu i got was on special, but there wasn't that much knocked off the price really.

So £200ish for the lot (if I'm lucky). Well, that'll get me near an E6600, oh well - I'll maybe look into some alternative uses for the kit then, which'll be tricky - I've already got a near identical system doing file server/htpc based stuff. *puts on thinking cap*.

Thanks very much for the help chaps .
