    Optimus Keyboard..I want one!

    and a video of a 3-button version:

Looks pretty cool to me - like a z-board with unlimited combinations...

Granted for touch typists it doesn't offer much - but for everyone else, some great possibilities - such as the keys being in lower-case as standard, and actually changing to capital letters when your in caps mode.

Or gaming layouts - where your keys are actually labled showing what they do - replacing 'r' with a reload icon for example, and blanking out all un-defined keys until your in chat mode - at which point all the letters come back on.

The number keys could be re-mapped to show which weapon they would change to, and how much ammunition you have for each. In racing games you could have your wingmirror keys actually showing the view from that mirror, and you press it to bring it full screen.

Obviously all of the above is speculation and relys heavily on what the software provided can do..but the possibility is there

oooh! thats cool. Been following this since it was first announced way way back. First tiem i've seen a video of the 3 button version though. Would like to see it in person.

If the full keyboard works as promised then it should be well worth the money.

i think they said it would be comparable to a high end mobile phone, which means up to about £400 i guess.

price will come down a lot over time though as OLED screens get cheaper and production goes up.

I only got the 3 button option for interest/play - plus pre-registed interest in optimus gave me a good ($110) on the 3 mini
