    core 2 duo heatsink

just installed my cpu about to install the heatsink.

but i noticed the copper part of the heatsink base has a couple of scratches on it.

    thermal interface material is fine.

am i good to install or do I have to rma.

edit: fitted hs/f been told it shouldn't cause problems if it does will have to rma.
