HDD media player with OGG playback?

    hey folks,

im in the market for a hard-disk based media player that can play OGGs. I have a large collection of music, all ripped to OGG and dont particularly want to re-encode it all to mp3. muttermutterinferiorqualitymuttermutter.

I've noticed that Cowon have changed their name to iAudio and have produced some good looking players that have the OGG playback. However, i was keen to see what other products might be in the competition.

Definitely needs to be 20gigs plus, not really got a budget at the minute, as ill decide on a budget after i see what i can get.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks guys
    Steve

I've got a 20Gb iAudio M3 which works pretty well, was about £200 when I bought it (I think... it might have been $200). The interface is a bit unfriendly at first, but you get used to it.

I also have an iaudio - it's the X5L - 30GB for £230 ish a few months ago. Great player with radio and good sound quality and 30 plus hrs of playback time. (altho I agree the interface takes a bit of getting used to as you can't search music files by tag like an ipod) ...until....

It stopped working after 3 months use ! Company I bought it from has gone bankrupt so I'm dealing with manufacturer direct now - hoping to get it fixed or get a replacement as apart from it breaking it's a great wee player...

I am sure i read somewhere that iAudio are bringing a modal out soon with DAB radio too. That would be nice.

Just out of interest, do the lastest iAudio devices play OGG gaplessly?

I also have an X5L and it's great. FLAC is almost gapless.

For the latest info you'd probably be better off going here

Edit: Rockbox firmware has been ported and that boasts gapless playback...there is a separate area in the X5 forums. I'm about to try it!
