I have HAD to buy one

I just ordered a new PSU

I have put it off for ages....the Chieftec case I have came with a 330 w psu, and its been good......welll......I THINK it has....

but how can you be SURE? I still get wierd lock up's.......ones that you can't always be SUREabout

And my mate Tumble has had to order one cos the vid card I gave him seems to have shown up the inadequacy of his one....

my mate Agent is ALWAYS telling people to get a life and get a good PSU...

    even I tell people,.......and yet....here am I with:

*coughs, stretches his fingers like a pianist, and starts to type all the things plugged into his PSU*

    Asus A7N8X with an XP2500 @ 2800
    1 gig of mem
2 fans off the headers on the Mobo, and one off a shared molex.
    SCSI controller (PCI)
    Revolution Sound Card (PCI)
    Second Network Card (PCI)
    3 SCSI hard disks 2 @ 10k, 1@7200
    1 SCSI burner
    1 Eide DVD drive
Radeon 9800 PRo with Molex power cable.

Makes me shudder to think what a git I have been to my poor PC.

    True Power 430W on order

You like your SCSI stuff don't you? Don't know much about the make, but 430W should do you fine.
