Ram Speeds, Tad confused :S

Im considering buy one of the new C2D's probably the E6400. I noticed it had a 1066Mhz FSB. When choosing my ram, does that mean i have to buy PC2-8500 (1066Mhz) Ram?. If so, i have really seen much about.
Can anyone help me?

I think they run DDR2 533/667/800

Wait for one of the uber techy's to point you to the correct ram, for the best value etc.

Scan sell Corsair ram, and would actually be able to tell you what to buy, in their forum too.

pc5400 should be fine. As conroe does actually benifit from wider FSBs quite a bit (unlike a64) when overclocking it is best to use the higher rated RAM but you dont need it at stock.

depends on the board that you have only the 975x chips take the 1066 mhz ram

so it is mostly dependant on the max your board can take if it's a good board then 667 would be a good start and give a little more overclocking potential the the ddr800 stuff does
