Hello,
Does anybody know when the AMD FX-64 CPU is coming out? They (AMD) had said that it would be released with the rest of the AM2 CPU's, but I can't find it anywhere?
Thanks in advance!

That's FX-62..
Sorry, feeling a little grumpy this morning..
FX-64 should be out in due time..
Its due out in the last quarter of this year.
On reading its spec on AMD's website the Core2Duo should still be better processors though.

Regardless of what the actual improvement on the chip is - it won't be able to compete with the top end Intel Core2Duo processors :bowdown:Quote:

there will be .65nm chips first in the next couple of months, then another lot of .65nm chips with the "k8l" revisions next year, so they might be bringing out the fx64 then (the first batch)
