About LinkBacksHow easy is it to switch hdd operation from NCQ to non-NCQ?
I don't want the performance hit of NCQ when I'm not multitasking on the same hard drive, but would like to be able to turn it on for such sessions on a case-by-case basis.

You'll need to reboot to change setting (nvidia ide driver) and Intel driver doesn't even have NCQ option.

Well in my case it's a JMicron NCQ/SATA2 port on an ASRock board, so I don't use NVidia's normal IDE drivers.
