Best Gaming Mouse

Any offers for whats the best gaming mouse at the moment? Dont want a wireless one so any ideas whats decent for say £30 max. £20 would be better. Used to hear that Razors were good mice but dont know if thats still the case - i seem to remeber they were very big cheers

what surface do you use? slow or fast?
are you a low or highsense gamer?

generally if you use high sensitivitys with slow pads then you should get a logitech g3(G5's are dire, along with all the microsoft new range of laser mice) laser mouse, but if you are a low sensitivity play like myself, stay well clear of laser mice or you will regret buying one. optical is what you need for low sense gaming and fast pads, microsoft just relaunched their itelli 3.0 which used to rock, i'm not sure about this new one though as i havnt tested it myself, otherwise just get a normal microsoft optical wheel mouse in black

sorry mis read it, theres no such thing as the best gaming mouse, its all about your playing style and what suits you he best.

mx518 for that money, but it on a cloth pad imo, DKT gamerstuff monstermat

I'm a very happy owner of the Logitech MX-518 (cost about £30 from Amazon last xmas), coupled with the 2nd edition IceMat makes for a good gaming experience for me.

speedy pads (any plastics or metals with teflon tape), with optical slow sense wins.

Hmm well i own a razor viper (older model of the razor mice) and i am very pleased, know a couple of friends who have copperheads and all very pleased. The mouse itself takes awile to get used to because of its sensitivity but quickly becomes a necessity in gaming life

cheers for the info, i just use a Sharkoon 1337 "Elite" Gaming Mouse Mat that i got from scan, its some kind of cloth but alot better than my old bog standard cloth mat im more of a twitch gamer than anything i might struggle with a mouse that moves mega quick but i spose its all about learning

yeah, it does take awile to get used to it, however there is "on the fly sensitivty" and i think firmware updates available for the new Razor copperhead, so sensitivty can be easily adjusted.

For me my G7 is the best. It is even wireless.

For me my Logitech G5 is the best, but tbh everyones hands and wrists are different get something you feel comfortable with.

A4Tech x750-BF its max DPI is 2500 so its mega fast, the fastest retailing mouse i think. But well its great for gaming and a good solid price.

I'm probably going to post this in every mouse related thread from now on,

but if your budget can stretch to about £40 (from a good retailer) you can get the razer and microsoft's collaboration the Habu.

It going to be released everywhere towards the end of the month, I have a thread about it too...

I have just bought the razor dimondback and im very happy wiht it. good looking and fiunctional.

One thing I don't like about my logitech mx510 is this. But apart from this minor annoyance, it's a very good gaming mouse.
