How about this one
Hauppauge Win TV Nova-T 500 MCE/Dual Digital DVBT Tuner+Remote LowProfile PCI
It can be brought here :

if you are after one of the best one.
yeh hes looking for a top notch one, basically to replace his TV, so budget is up to something like that one. So this one means u can get freeview straight on it? or is there anything else needed?
For freeview, you want a DVB-T card. there are loads.

Many of these have analogue input as well, but not tuners. Dual tuner cards are also available

Or there is the Nebula DigiTV

Very good card with very good software, although you do pay more for it. They have some neat features and a decent software roadmap, if a little slow in getting there.
have a look at MediaPortal, a OSS version of Windows MCE. As long as the card has BDA drivers you should be set.
well ideally to get all the channels ur tlking about e4 ect ect you should connect the car to a roof airel then they work wonders, but i have found using them with the arials supplied they arent that good, so i would say get a decent one if you can connect it to the roof areal coz then they make for great tv replacements, but the signal is often crap with the supplied areal, dont actually know how to spell areal so 4give me for that tbh.
the ones i have used are freecom,
yeh it will be plugged into a roof ariel, thanks for info
np johnyy, but yer even the cheap ones work great if they go into an areal, but the above one looks good,if you check out custom pc site they did a big review, the black and white its called won i think
This may sound a bit of a daft question, but with a dual tuner card (digital and analogue) can you connect up a video player to the analogue connector??
Thinkin of getting this one http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=466409 ??
any good??
cheers
yeah no problem with that. If your video has SCART, S-Video or composite video out then you don't even need a dual tuner, just one with an analogue stage.
Actually, composite or s-video should be higher quality that the RF output of the VHS deck anyway.
cheers.
Never thought of using s-video.
Cheers.

lsoz guys been afk for a bit, so the card will be plugged into an arial fromt eh roof, so could someone suggest a good card which will enable me to get E4 and other freeview channels straight away, also with a remote.
